Here is the first video launching my newly rebranded video series, The Eric Thurow Show. My rebranding of my video channel, which was solely on YouTube, is now available on Rumble, and Facebook Watch.
My intention of this rebranding is to recommit myself to document my health and lifestyle change. As of right now, doctors will consider me to obese and approximately 200 pounds overweight. This is just from a weight standpoint and not using the BMI scale.
When I was 18 I was diagnosed with diabetes. I had never been motivated to be active before. By twenty, my health had slipped even more, and my doctor told me I may not make it to 50 at the rate I was going. My parents weren't even 50 yet. That was my wakeup call. My journey hasn't been easy but it's definitely been worth it.
I get bored with conventional exercises. We can keep working out longer if we enjoy what we're doing! For me, the key is adventure. I started with short hikes in pretty places with lots to see. Then I began mountain biking and kayaking. Now I'm into rock climbing and snowshoeing! Let's find something you love that gets you moving!
